Who I Am in Christ

A prayer of thanksgiving and faith about the identity of those who belong to Christ.

Quem eu Sou em Cristo

“I rise before the dawn and cry out; in Your word I place my confident hope.”

Psalm 119:147

Pray out loud:

“My God and beloved Father, I enter Your presence with thanksgiving, praise and worship for another day of life. This is the day that the LORD has made! I rejoice in it and consecrate it to You.

I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that Yeshua is Your Son and that You, O Father, raised Him from the dead, and so I am saved. My salvation is a gift; it does not come from works. For it is not through what I do, but through faith and Your grace that I am saved, and today I am Your child. On this new day, I will be guided by Your Spirit. I have been freed from the power of darkness and brought into the Kingdom of Light, the kingdom of the Son of Your love: Yeshua, in whom I have been redeemed and forgiven.

I accept no condemnation or accusation from the devil against me, for the Word says there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ, who do not walk according to the flesh, disobeying Your Word and displeasing You, but according to the Spirit, obeying Your commandments.

Through Christ and by faith, I have been justified and have peace with You. The Holy Spirit has poured love into my heart. I have been forgiven by You, and I forgive those who do me wrong.

I thank and praise You for the anointing that comes from the Holy Spirit and is in me, for through it I have Your wisdom and knowledge. In this anointing that I have received and that remains in me, I am empowered to make decisions and choices, so that I may be victorious in everything.

I give thanks for the authority I have in the Name of Yeshua to cast out demons, speak in new tongues, lay hands on the sick and see them healed. And for being able to handle snakes, drink anything deadly and suffer no harm. I am born of You, my God, and the evil one cannot touch me. Therefore, no evil will befall me, nor will any plague come near my home, because the LORD will command His angels concerning me, to guard me in all my ways. In joining myself to the LORD, I have become one spirit with You, and I will fear nothing on this new day. For You, my God, have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love and self-control. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I am born of You, and therefore I overcome the world. Who overcomes the world except the one who believes that Yeshua is the Son of God? Therefore, I declare in faith that in all things I am more than a conqueror through Him who loved me. Greater is the One who is in me, my Yeshua, than the one who is in the world, the enemy of my soul, who has been defeated by Christ.

What, then, shall I say in the face of all the difficulties and things I am living through and see around me? I will say, ‘If God is for me, who can be against me?’ He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, will graciously give me all things with Him. I declare that I am already blessed with every heavenly blessing in Christ, who chose and appointed me to bear fruit that lasts, so that God, my Father, may give me whatever I ask Him in His Name. And I believe that You are able to do infinitely more than all I am asking or imagining, according to Your power at work in me. To You, then, be glory forever. Amen. I pray to You in the Name of YESHUA.”
