The following prayer models are intended exclusively for those in ministry. These prayers may be said after:
1. Personal or online ministry and discipleship, individually or in a group;
2. Any kind of service in the church or at worship services;
3. Intercession or spiritual warfare prayers.
The aim is to restore spiritual, emotional and physical strength after doing God's work. Many people, after serving—even when it has been a blessed time—feel tired and emotionally shaken, and experience emptiness, sadness and anxiety. This happens because of the anointing released during ministry. These prayers are a powerful weapon for restoring physical and spiritual energy, for they strengthen us in the Lord—Ephesians 6:10,13.
However, if a disciple of Christ feels the need because of a spiritual confrontation they are experiencing, they may also pray these prayers. They should take care to name the type of confrontation at the point in the prayer where the reason for their spiritual, emotional or physical exhaustion needs to be expressed.
RESTORATION IN THE SPIRIT
“Eternal heavenly Father, I stand upon Your word to regain spiritual strength. I pray that my spiritual being may be strengthened in the LORD and in His mighty power, and recover all the anointing released. I declare that Your grace is sufficient for me, because my sufficiency comes from You and Your power is perfected in my weaknesses. In those weaknesses I will boast, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore, may every flaming arrow of the evil one—whether through feelings or thoughts—that seeks to affect my spirit with discouragement, a sense of weakness, deceptive arguments that I am spiritually weak, or fears of being vulnerable to the enemy's retaliation, be extinguished and removed in the name of Yeshua. I reject and renounce every spirit of fear, self-pity and discouragement in my spirit, and I command them to leave me now! In the name of Yeshua! LORD, may the beloved Holy Spirit strengthen me spiritually through this time of fellowship with You, filling me with Your presence and restoring my spiritual perception. I give You thanks for answering me and for always being with me. I pray in the name of Yeshua, and I receive Your anointing, grace and power. Amen!”
RESTORATION IN THE SOUL
“Beloved God, I reaffirm that I am under the covering of the blood of Yeshua and that my trust in You remains firm. Therefore, I claim the peace You have offered me, especially for my mind, will, emotions and feelings. LORD, I surrender my emotions upon Your altar to be restored by You, in view of possible demonic actions causing emotional wounds and possible transfers of weaknesses or evil forces operating in (NAME THE PERSON OR PEOPLE MINISTERED TO, OR THE WORK THAT WAS DONE). I ask for Your renewal upon my soul, undoing every involvement with the suffering described during that time, and completely erasing from my unconscious every painful image and memory I encountered. I take authority in the name of Yeshua and command all these emotional afflictions and shadows of human suffering, or anything else that entered my life through the work that was done, to leave my soul now! In the name of Yeshua! I declare that the blood of Yeshua distinguishes between my will and every demonic operation, breaking all evil captivity, so that I may walk, obey and be led by the LORD in the freedom of the Spirit. Father, I cry out that the ability, wisdom, impartiality, serenity, maturity and skill that were in Christ to minister to people and do Your work, without being affected by the burdens and disturbances of human suffering, may come upon me, bringing balance and restoration. I take hold of all the power and authority won by Christ on the cross of Calvary, of the enabling of the Holy Spirit and of the anointing of the word of God to distinguish between my soul and my spirit, discerning the intentions and thoughts of the heart. I clothe myself with the armour of the LORD so that I may stand firm after this spiritual battle.
I thank You for hearing and protecting me, for I trust that this battle is in the hands of the LORD of Hosts and that I am completely dependent on You. I know that You guard my soul against every wound and weakness, giving me the renewal I need. I proclaim that You are the defender of my heart. I thank You and receive the restoring portion of Your Spirit in the name of Yeshua. Amen.”
RESTORATION IN THE PHYSICAL BODY
“LORD, at this moment I place my body before Your altar to be renewed by the anointing of Your word, which says that Your children will run and not grow weary. Therefore, I declare illegal and ineffective every illness, deformity, weakness and pain that entered my body through ministry (NAME THE TYPE OF SPIRITUAL WARFARE), or through evil activity during the day or night, when evil forces struck me physically. May they disappear in the name of Yeshua! Every spirit of illness, degenerative disease, fatigue, weakness and stress, leave me now! In the name of Yeshua! I apply the blood of Christ between my body and every spell and evil intention of illness and physical deterioration. I neutralise and cancel every action of the ‘queen of heaven’—Iansã—of the powers of the air and their demons, rendering ineffective every arrow of physical weakening against my life. May my body now receive healing through the authority of the word of God and the name of Yeshua, for by His wounds I am healed: may my neurons, mind, physical strength, bones and organs receive the LORD's restoration. Beloved God, I claim Your renewal for my body and the prompt restoration of my physical strength through the working of Your power. I thank You, LORD, for renewing me as the eagles are renewed, for by faith I receive the restoring miracle of the Holy Spirit and the health of God. In the name of Yeshua! Amen.”
